We’re Finalists: And it really matters
We’re thrilled to share that Conscious Entrepreneurs has been shortlisted for another national award. This time in the Sustainability Leadership category at the Good Small Business Awards 2025
Being a finalist is no small thing.
It’s a recognition of the work we’re doing behind the scenes. Not just to make business better, but to make business feel better for the people actually running them. It’s fuel for the journey, and a reminder that purpose-led, impact-driven entrepreneurs deserve to be seen, heard and supported.
Why this means so much
We’re building Conscious Entrepreneurs from the ground up, and from the heart out.
This is not a venture capital-backed, polished-to-perfection product. This is one woman’s determination (that’s me, Clare) to create a thriving, real space for founders who want to grow businesses that are kind to people and the planet. Without sacrificing their own wellbeing to do it.
Since taking over the reins, I’ve invested everything I’ve got into Conscious Entrepreneurs. Energy, personal savings, coaching expertise, and the full library of Focus & Growth resources, now available to all members at no extra cost.
And with the help of a lot of amazing people, we’ve built something pretty incredible:

- Online coworking that eases the loneliness of purpose-led entrepreneurship
- Online networking, a space for honest conversations, and the kind of support that only comes from people who get it
- Monthly, great name, guest speaker events that challenge, share and inspire

- A belief that belonging in business is more powerful than just fitting in
But here’s the reality
We’re not a flashy app or big tech platform.
We’re a community of care, clarity, and conscious action.
And the truth is, without funding or backing, it’s hard work to keep momentum. I’ve bootstrapped this initiative every step of the way, and I’m nearing the point where I can’t keep giving more without help.
So this recognition? It’s vital.
It opens doors. It gives us credibility. It invites conversations with sponsors and collaborators. It proves that our values do have value.
What Happens Next?
We’re attending the Good Small Business Awards Gala in October. Whether we win or not, we’ll be there flying the flag for every small business owner trying to:
- balance impact and income,
- grow with purpose, not pressure,
- and protect their own health while building a better world.
And we’re not stopping.
