Helping Women Heal and Thrive After Sexual Trauma | Coach, Mentor & Founder of Licensed Healing Programmes and The Sanctuary

I’m Emily Jacob, a certified coach and Master NLP practitioner on a mission to help women reclaim their lives after sexual trauma and rediscover joy beyond survival.

Through ReConnected Life, I’ve supported over 1,000 survivors to rebuild from a place of safety and strength. My self-help programmes are licensed by more than 20 Rape Crisis and Survivors Trust charities, universities, and NHS SARCs across the UK — and I’m actively partnering with more to expand access to trauma-informed healing. Licensing bridges the gap between disclosure and therapy with resources that truly help women begin their healing journey.

Through The Sanctuary, my membership space, women can continue this work beyond the therapy room — building boundaries, stability and self-trust as the foundations for lasting healing.

At the heart of everything I do is one belief: healing happens in safety, and safety begins with connection.

Drawing on my own lived experience and over 25 years in corporate leadership with organisations including NatWest, KPMG, Microsoft, Vodafone and O2, I also work with visionary leaders to build trauma-informed cultures. I help teams address the root causes of burnout, stress and long-term sickness, fostering psychological safety, creativity and innovation at every level.

I’ve been featured in the award-winning, BAFTA-nominated Channel 5 documentary Raped: My Story, as well as BBC, The Independent and Channel 5 News. I also edited To Report or Not to Report, launched at the Houses of Parliament, amplifying the voices of survivors navigating the (in)justice system.

As a keynote speaker, I’ve shared my story and insights at the Eyestorm Women’s Summit, SlutWalk, Reclaim the Night and the One Woman Conference — and I continue to speak on trauma-informed leadership, resilience and reconnection.

Alongside my healing and training work, I lead customer experience programmes for Namecheap through my consultancy, Curious Decisions — focusing on insights, customer journeys and cross-functional collaboration.

I live by the sea with my puppy and kitten, navigating life with MS and finding daily inspiration in the resilience of others.
